Romantic Summer Engagement

Jordan and Noah Lebanon, TN

This romantic summer engagement session is what dreams are made of! Jordan and Noah arrived at the field for their engagement session a little nervous and the first thing they told me is they are not good at taking photos. About 5 minutes into their session I knew this was absolutely not true, they just “thought” they weren’t good. As you can see from the images they were NATURALS!

I have known Noah and his family since he was in school, we lived in the same neighborhood. When Jordan reached out about photographing their wedding it was an easy YES for me! I love to get my couple’s story for their engagement blog so I ask them a couple questions and here are their answers!

Their Story

How did you two meet?
We grew up in the same area and schools, but it wasn’t until high school cross country that we became friends. We’ve been the best of friends ever since.

When did you know each other was “the one”?
Jordan – I’ve known since I was about 17. Noah has always been my closest friend. We’ve always had the same interests and said we are “just alike.” He’s like the boy version of me and I just knew for a long time that I wanted him in my life forever. When we officially started dating, there was no denying we’d be married shortly after. And here we are about 2 years later.

Noah – “Same.” Jordan has been a constant friend to me since we were in high school. We’ve always bonded over similar interests. There was never an “I knew” moment, because I’ve really known for a long time. It wasn’t a feeling that happened over night. It took years of friendship to build such a close and perfect relationship.

Who did he propose?  Give me all the details!
The plan was on top of our favorite hike in the smokies – Mt. Leconte. But when we arrived in late January to the park being closed and Mt. Leconte with 10+ feet of snow, Noah had to find a backup plan. We went hiking in the snow on the Ramsey Cascades trail. We climbed out on a rock in the creek to take a picture and he asked.

What are you most looking forward to for your wedding day?

Tacos and the honeymoon out West after!

Any other fun stories or info about you two!
-We love to travel!

-One of our favorite songs is Springsteen – Eric Church, which is the lyrics on the first ring Noah gave me (pictured with engagement ring). We’re going to play that as we walk out after our ceremony. The lyrics are really special to us.
