Chris and Brittany Engagement Session

Engagement session!

Chris and Brittany’s engagement session was the best!  It took years for them to come together, but the wait was so worth it.  Chris and Brittany went to high school together in 2011 and were good friends until drifting apart to pursue their careers.  In May of 2016 their rekindled their friendship and it eventually turned into something more!  Chris was living in Maryland at the time, working as a police officer and Brittany was living in Lebanon, TN.  In December 2016 Chris moved to Richmond, Kentucky to be closer to Brittany and family.  After doing long distance for so long Chris finally moved to Lebanon in September of 2017!  They bought a house and have 2 adorable dogs!  Chris and Brittany are both public servants. Chris is a police officer in Mt. Juliet, TN and Brittany a teacher in Carthage, TN.

Chris used their sweet puppy, Kane to help pop the question!  He took Kane outside to play before he and Brittany were going to dinner.  When Brittany came out to say she was ready to go Chris and Kane were hiding behind a tree.  Kane ran to Brittany with a sign on that said “Mommy will you marry my Daddy?”  Chris then came out and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.  She said YES!  How sweet is that!

I had the best time taking their engagement photos at Cedars of Lebanon park.  The leaves were changing and the fall colors were everywhere.  Playing with Kane, doing their detail images with her ring and his badge, and hearing about their love story were some of my favorite moments of the session.  Chris and Brittany will tie the knot on October 12, 2019 at  the beautiful Legacy Farms in Lebanon, TN.  I can not wait to capture their love again on their WEDDING DAY!

Love engagement sessions? Here is another sweet one!
