Charlie and Callie | Butterfly Hollow

I recently photographed a small, intimate wedding in Gordonsville, TN at the Butterfly Hollow. While this wedding season has been anything but normal, couples are changing plans and finding a way to make the best of it! If you’re not familiar with elopements, they are tiny weddings where only the bride and grooms closest family attends and they keep it intimate. With the pandemic changing the way we have to do everything, couples looking to elope have become quite popular.

wedding details, rings, bouquet, dress

While elopement weddings are much different and tend to cost a lot less, you can still have the dream wedding you’ve always wanted. Just because you choose to elope doesn’t mean you can’t have an amazing dress and Badgley Mischka shoes!  I mean, how amazing are these?!

This beautiful and intimate elopement wedding took place at the Butterfly Hollow in Gordonsville, TN.  This sweet couple, the officiant, and myself were the only ones there which made it so sweet and intimate. Their original plan was to go to Vegas, but when flying is not an option they changed their plans, and I am so glad I was able to be a part of their new wedding plan.

Charlie and Calli

For Charlie and Calli, they knew this venue was perfect for them. I am not sure there is a better way to end an elopement than dancing in the rain!  It didn’t start raining until the last 15 minutes of the ceremony, and if you ask me, it was PERFECT timing!  I just want to say a huge congratulations to Charlie and Calli! I am so incredibly happy you two were able to say your “I dos” and I am so thankful I was able to be a part of it.
