This Cozy Winter Engagement Session was perfect! I have known Lori for years (I actually took her senior photos) so I was so excited when she contacted me for her wedding photography! We took their photos at The Mitchell House and a beautiful field in Lebanon. I love to let my couples “write” their engagement blog post by answering some questions.
We met in youth group from mutual youth leaders we had. It was a random Wednesday in the summer when the leaders picked me up. I walked in and was a little nervous since I knew nobody there, but everyone was super welcoming. I remember avoiding Connor all night because I was so nervous. The next night though I went to their laser tag event hoping he was there to get to see him.
Lori- Connor was so accepting and adaptable to my crazy schedule and didn’t get frustrated with the long periods of time we’re life was just so busy. There were many months I’d be out of town almost every weekend for volleyball, and we practiced three days a week. At times it was harder than others, but we found small time and took advantage of it.
We were going to a dock we had visited often for our anniversaries and small dates. Before going out there we got chick fil an and we danced on the dock and ate dinner. Then while we were dancing he proposed.
I am so excited to just be surrounded with all the people who have made the most impact on us as individuals and let them be involved in seeing us become one. There are so many people who have shaped us into being who we are and things that would never have happened without them, so to be able to share that moment with those people is so incredibly special.
We have been together since high school and we are huge sports fans!
