It was a day I will never forget. I have known Sarah since the day she was born! She is my cousin, and I was honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding. We met Cameron a couple of years ago when Sarah brought him to Christmas dinner, and I instantly knew they were a perfect fit! They met in law school and began dating soon after.
When Cameron decided to propose he thought in front of some wild animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom would be the perfect place! They walked around the park all day, little did she know he was searching for an exhibit where the animals were out! It was so hot that day that all of the animals were hiding, so Cameron walked around all day with the ring box in his pocket, and never asked!
Fast forward about a month! They had just finished finals and headed back to Disney for a weekend with their friends, Erik and Tera. They went to Orlando on Friday and planned to go to a park on Saturday. Friday night they decided to go to Fleming’s to celebrate, since Erik and Cameron had just finished their last exams of law school. When dessert came the waiter offered them champagne, which is always complimentary at Fleming’s. He passed out the glasses and Sarah’s had a ring of bubbles on the bottom. The next thing she knew Cameron was on his knee beside her! How sweet is that!
Sarah and her mom made a lot of the wedding details by hand, including the wedding invitation! They hand stamped the gold onto the invites, aren’t they beautiful!Sarah’s bridal party was family, friends, and some of her sorority sisters! They were so sweet and you could tell they were genuinely excited for Sarah and Cameron!
Sarah and Cameron’s wedding day included exchanging vows in front of their family and friends at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Temple Terrace, Florida.
This might have been my favorite detail of the day! Is there a classier way to ride off into the sunset than a 1914 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost! The married couple rode from the church to the reception in this beauty! The reception was held at Plantation Palms Golf Course in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. The cocktail hour was on the covered patio that overlooked the golf course and the weather was perfect!
After finishing the bridal party photos we snuck away with Chad, the owner and videographer with Mangione Studios on 2 golf carts to catch the sunset! The light was perfect and it gave the couple a couple moments to themselves before heading to the reception. The couple shared their first dance as husband and wife to the song “I Love You Will Still Sound the Same” by Oh Honey. They danced, laughed, and shared some sweet moments together. I learned a lot this weekend about sorority life! Learning all about bigs, littles, and most importantly “stacking” photos! After a dinner was over it was time to DANCE! DJ Joe with Kool Kat Entertainment played the quintessential dance music for a perfect party!
