Diamond and Matias | Rock Island State Park

This Twin Falls Elopement was amazing! Diamond and Matias traveled from Washington for the perfect intimate elopement and they definitely got it. The weather was beautiful for a February afternoon.

Diamond and Matias actually met in high school and dated for about a week before deciding that they were too young. They stayed in touch over Facebook and after 6 years and then got reconnected. Diamond and Matias went on a hike to Twin Falls in Washington state and thought of just being friends because the timing wasn’t great again. After spending some more time together it was clear that this was definitely something deeper and special and the rest is history. They have been together for 5 and a half years. 

They got engaged about 1-1/2 years ago when they went on vacation to the Maldives, he proposed on a windy beach mid day after having a photo shoot on the beautiful island. 

Why did you choose Twin Falls?

Our first date was in Twin Falls in Washington state. We’ve enjoyed Tennessee and wanted to have a destination elopement. Twin Falls in Tennessee is a stunning waterfall backdrop for our wedding ceremony.
