The Story of Kaylee & Kyle
This past weekend, I was able to be a part of a colorful spring wedding at The Saltbox Inn in Cookeville, TN, and it was simply stunning! Kaylee and Kyle have been together for years and tied the knot on May 29th in a sweet ceremony surrounded by friends and family. Kaylee had a vision for her wedding day, and it was brought to life!
Their love story started in August of 2013. They met the first week of their freshman years at Cumberland University. Kyle was at Cumberland University on a baseball scholarship, and Kaylee was part of their nursing program and also there on a scholarship for cheerleading. The first time they ever met was when they were placed in the same small group during orientation. If you ask Kyle, he was standing around waiting for the icebreaker game to start and he was wearing an Atlanta Braves hat. Kaylee walked up to him, grabbed the hat off his head, shook it, and said, “We can be friends, you have good taste in teams”, and the rest is history!
They started officially dating on August 12, 2015 and he proposed on June 20, 2020 and the rest is history!
