The Romantic Fall Wedding at Grace Valley farms that I recently photographed was truly amazing! When I met Katelyn and Mitchell last year through another couple of mine, Emily and Stephen, I knew they were my type of couple! They love to laugh, are hard working, love their family and friends, oh and they love dogs! Those are my kind of people.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect! Let’s face it in Tennessee it could have been 90 degrees or snowing in late November, but I believe we had a PERFECT fall day!
The wedding venue, Grace Valley Farms was the perfect venue for Katelyn and Mitchell. Located on 235 acres of land, this wedding venue gave them the most beautiful wedding photos ever. Featuring a lot of nature, this is the perfect wedding venue if you love the beauty of the outdoors. Ranging from rustic to elegant vibes, this wedding venue hits all the marks for your wedding day!
All of the little details were amazing, including this amazing custom jean jacket and adorable socks for the bride maids! Katelyn and her girls started hair and make up early in the morning in their adorable monogramed matching pajamas.
Once they were all dolled up, Katelyn slipped into her amazing wedding dress from Modern Brides with her mom standing by her side. To finish off her wedding day look, she added her grandmothers pearls as her ‘something borrowed’.
Then it was time for a sweet reveal to her bridesmaids and a first look with her daddy!
Katelyn and Mitchell opted to not do a first look but did a first touch, prayer, and exchanging of gifts. It was such a sweet, intimate moment and I am so glad I was able to capture every moment on camera.
Mitchell’s reaction to seeing Katelyn walking down the aisle was priceless and it gives me chills every time I think about it.
The best thing in life is to find friends who are truly happy for you and who will be by your side on your big day, no matter what! (Bonus points if they are as much fun as this group!)
It was time to get the party started! They started their reception with the sweetest father and daughter dance, followed by the mother and son dance – tears were rolling down my eyes, and as I looked around the room, I noticed I wasn’t alone.
I am so glad we got to sneak away from the reception for 10 minutes to capture these night time portraits on Lover’s Lane! When I saw this spot earlier in the day, I knew these would be so dreamy for wedding day pictures.
Thank you Katelyn and Mitchell for allowing me to capture this special day for you, I loved every moment of it!
