Abbey + Derek | Beechgrove, TN

When I met this sweet couple in December it was to capture their proposal! Derek had planned every detail and Abby was more than surprised and of course, she said YES! We instantly made a connection and I have been counting down the days to their wedding. When they told me they chose The White Dove Barn for their venue I was so excited.

The White Dove Barn venue is beautiful to say the least and their staff is second to none. Every detail is taken care of and when changes had to be made due to weather they pulled of the changes with such grace and ease. Dusty blue, sage, and ivory were the color platte for the bridesmaid dresses, florals, and decor. All of the florals were amazing but the flowers hanging from all of the chandeliers made for such a dreamy backdrop.

Abby and her girls started their day with the best glam squad! They got ready in the sweetest matching pajamas and shared so many laughs all morning! When it was time for Abby to put her stunning Pronovias gown from LVD Bridal she shared those moments with just her mom. It was such a sweet time for the two of them. Abby did the sweetest reveal with her bridesmaids, an emotional first look with her daddy, and then a first look with her soon to be groom!

Rain moved their ceremony inside, but it was absolute perfection! Alec, who Derek met years ago when working for the Shriners Hospital Children’s College Classic Baseball Tournament was an usher and also threw the petals down the aisle. Even though Alec lives in Chicago, he and Derek have been buddies for years and even play Fortnite together weekly!

The rain cleared and we were able to go outside for their photos and I am so glad it did! The light was beautiful and watching Abby and Derek laugh and interact was the best part of the day! The Ally on Main catered the best comfort foods meal and then everyone danced the night away with Jon Boyce from Music Tree Entertainment behind the DJ stand.

Abby and Derek shared their final dance all by themselves while their guests lined up to send them off with a sparkler exit!
