Emma and Owen | The River House at Lowndes Grove

Emma and Owen’s Destination Wedding in Charleston is what dreams are made of! Charleston, SC is one of my favorite destinations so being able to photograph a wedding there was amazing. Emma spent the morning getting ready with her girls! They had hair and make-up, snacked, and sipped champagne. When it was time to get dressed, Emma slipped into her dress with her mom and it was such a special time After a sweet reveal with her bridesmaids it was time for the first look!

We found a beautiful shade tree in front of the water for Emma and Owen to do their first look! After a few tears and hugs they read their private vows to each other. We spent some time taking photos and then their bridal party joined us.

The ceremony was under 2 beautiful shade trees overlooking the water and it was amazing. After the I Do’s we took family photos, some just married photos and then they joined their guests at cocktail hour for a bit! Once they shared their first dance and parent dances it was time for dinner. After dinner we hurried to the dock for the most perfect sunset photos! The next couple hours were spent dancing under the stars and the string lights! A sparkler exit completed the night! I don’t think they could have had a more perfect evening! Congratulations Owen and Emma!
