This Cedar Creek Yacht Club wedding was absolute perfection. The forecast called for rain all day, but not a drop fell and the temps were amazing for this time of year. When I arrived I met Austin and headed down to the water to snap some photos of him before Kaitlyn arrived. They opted to do a first look and it was precious. These two couldn’t stop smiling at each other! They read letters that they wrote to each other and then we took some time to take some portraits.
Kaitlyn was driven to the ceremony site in her step-dad’s vintage truck that has been passed down in his family and used for two other family weddings. I am not sure there is a prettier ceremony site than Cedar Creek Yacht Club. After the vows were exchanged and they sealed it with kiss in the ceremony we took some time to take family photos. The guests enjoyed some light snacks and drinks.
After a few more “Just Married” photos Kaitlyn and Austin joined their guests at the reception. They cut the cake and shared a toast! So many hugs and photos with guests who came from all over to celebrate with them.
As their guests lined up for a bubble exit we snuck down to the water for one minute and I am SO GLAD we did! Just look at the sky in those final evening photos. Kaitlyn and Austin said good bye to their families and friends with a bubble exit and then drove off! Congratulations Austin and Kaitlyn!!
