When it comes to your wedding day, you want it to reflect you and your partner’s personalities – Maverick and William’s wedding was perfectly them! They met online in a Facebook group that brings like-minded veterans together to help the community. He lived here in Tennessee and she lived in Missouri. One night in the summer of 2017, she drove to meet him in middle of the night and spent the entire weekend with him. After that one night, they hit it off and knew the rest was history! Fast forward to February in 2018, Maverick moved to TN because she knew William was the love of her life. They wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. How sweet is that?!
William told Maverick’s mom in July that he knew she was the one for him and he wanted to spend her life with her. He had her mom take her to look at a ring that she was supposedly upgrading for herself but, little did Maverick know that ring was for her! William asked her in front of the most important people in her life, her parents and her kids to be his wife.
Like every couple, they have had their ups and downs but Maverick says she can honestly say William has shown her what true love is.
Maverick and William’s wedding was one I will never forget. The girls dresses were all bought at David’s bridal. The blue heart on the back of the brides dress was cut from a t-shirt from her father which was an important detail for Maverick.
The bride and her girls spent the morning getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite at Apple Ridge Farm! The bride’s maid of honor was also her even planner (Evenfall Consulting, LLC) and her attention to every detail was truly amazing. She allowed Maverick to enjoy her wedding day so she didn’t have to stress about all the little things.
Maverick and William’s wedding ceremony was filled with some laughs, tears, and personal vows that the bride and groom wrote. Their wedding venue, Apple Ridge Farm, is known for it’s rustic charm and barn features and it’s truly a beautiful venue. Located on a couple acres of land, this venue has some of the most beautiful wedding day picture backdrops. With forested hills, wide open skies, and beautiful rustic barns, this wedding venue is one for the books!
The bridal party was so much fun! Their aviator sunglasses were a perfect detail for a wedding of “Maverick and Goose”!
The DJ for the wedding was Adam Glexy. The bride danced with her dad and then everyone cleared the dance floor and a mother/ son song was played in memory of William’s mom. There was not a dry eye in the house during this song. This amazing cake was done by Rachel Moeller who owns Sweet Tooth Designer Cakes!
Congratulations Maverick and William! The happy couple is leaving for their honeymoon in Dublin, Ireland! How amazing is that! Loved this wedding? Here is another amazing wedding!
