Sydney- Class of 2020!

I have known Sydney (class of 2020) , and her parents, for a long time, she played softball with my daughter Kaylee when they were little girls. I was so excited when she applied to be on the rep team! Sydney is involved in a little bit of everything at school!

She is on the varsity volleyball team, and they played in the state tournament her junior and senior year!  Sydney is also a member of the beta club, spanish club, student government, national honor society, FBLA, and FFA! WOW! Sydney was also named Miss WHS this year!

Sydney wanted to be on the team because she loves meeting new people! When asked what she was looking forward to most for senior year: “I’m the most excited to spend one last year with my friends before we all leave for college.”

Sydney’s favorite high school memory was playing in the State Tournament for volleyball! They finished state runner up and she was named to the All State Team!

Syd will be attending Tennessee Tech in the fall and will be majoring in International Business and Cultures.

Something that Sydney said she has learned during quarantine is to never take school for granted!

Favorite Bible Verse: 1 John 4:19- You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

Congratulations Sydney- Class of 2020! Can’t wait to see you do big things in this world!
