Sydney (class of 2020) is a quiet beauty, and has an infectious smile. Syd is a senior at Wilson Central High School and played on their volleyball team all four years of high school and also played club volleyball with Alliance Airborne volleyball.

I asked the girls to describe themselves at the beginning of the year and this is what Sydney said: “I’m quiet and I have a unique sense of humor. I have a great group of special friends that I enjoy hanging out with. My grandmother means the world to me. She is 94 and I like taking care of her!!” How sweet is that! Grandmothers are so special, but when a teenager says she likes taking care of her, you know she is a special woman!
When asked what she was most looking forward to about her senior year Sydney said GRADUATING!
Sydney brought her friend Campbell to our Fall/ Smoke Bomb session and now Campbell is on my 2021 Senior Rep Team!
Sydney will be attending Alabama A&M University in the fall, majoring in psychology. Her favorite HS memory was playing volleyball one last time. Something she has learned during quarantine- “I have learned to be patient and let God control the situation and to trust God through this time.
Favorite quote: “Block out the negative. Focus on the positive. Live my best life.”
Congratulations Sydney- Class of 2020! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
