This Rainy Wedding at Hermitage Golf Course was one for the books! When you get married the weekend after a hurricane comes through you don’t know what to expect. Did it rain ALL DAY? Yes? Did it stop us from having the most amazing day ever? NO!! Katy and Kris were so excited for the day they didn’t really care about the weather and we just adjusted to every twist and turn!

After getting ready they shared a private first look and vows and it was such a sweet moment. Then we took some photos and joined the bridal party for more photos. After the ceremony we spent some time taking their family formal photos inside while the rain was coming down pretty hard. Some how as soon as we finished family photos we got a slight break in the rain and we took full advantage of it! We got some photos on the golf course and then went to see the sheep! (the sheep was on their must do list of photos)

Once we got back it was time for the reception! After the sweetest welcome and toast from Katy’s dad it was dinner time! The guests were served family style and the food was amazing! After dinner there were toasts, first dances, and cake cutting. The guests then danced the night away. Katy and Kris and I snuck outside for a nighttime portrait dancing in the rain and it was worth it!! Congratulations Katy and Kris!
