The Bell Tower | Nashville, TN | Allie and Brian

Allie and Brian’s engagement session at the Whisky Room in The Bell Tower was stunning. This space is amazing and Allie and Brian killed it! I mean just look at them- they belong on a magazine cover!

How did you two meet?

We met in San Diego, California, on Bumble in April of 2020! Our first date was at an Italian restaurant, Cesarina (one of the few that were open during the very active pandemic). We got to know each other over the Summer and Brian asked Allie to be his girlfriend in the early Fall. After many Padres games, trips to Sunset Cliffs, and dinners at Nick’s, Allie decided it was time to move back East. Nashville to be exact. Due to Brian’s love for country music and cowboy boots (for those of you reading who might not know Brian, this is a joke), he decided he would follow. After some intense job searching, the two moved to Nashville in March of 2022. Brian popped the question on September 30th, 2023, in Destin, Florida, and here we are!

When did you know each other was “the one”?

Allie: I knew Brian was the one in January of 2021 when we went on a ski trip for my 27th birthday. He had snowboarded all his life.. and I had not. I tumbled down the mountain the entire weekend (I even fractured my ribs) and he was so patient and kind the whole time. He has a lot more patience than me to this day.

Brian: I knew Allie was the one when she began coming to my basketball games. When we met, I was coaching at my high school in San Diego. I loved looking into the stands and seeing her supporting me with my family.

Who did he propose?

We took a trip down to 30A right before our 3 year anniversary. After a weekend of going to the beach, dinners, and drinks – Brian proposed Saturday night on the beach in Rosemary Beach. We went straight to dinner where Brian said ‘party of 2’ to the hostess who led us to a table on the water with Allie’s family waiting. They had driven in from Jacksonville, FL, and Houston, TX – they were there the whole weekend as well … strategically not running into us.

What are you most looking forward to for your wedding day?

Since we are from different sides of the country (San Diego and Jacksonville) and are getting married in our new town – we are so excited to be united for celebrations with our friends and family in Nashville!

Some info… we like to travel and have been to 10+ states together. We like making dinner together.. Brian cooks, Allie eats. We love watching sports together, especially Alabama football (Allie’s Alma Mater).
